How long have you worked at Aardvarks? - Since August of 2023 What’s your favorite part about working at Aardvarks? - My favorite part about working at Aardvarks is building meaningful connections with all the special dogs who come through our doors. Being part of such a dynamic, dog-loving team makes the work incredibly rewarding. What’s one thing you love most about dogs? - One thing I love most about dogs is their loyalty and unconditional love. Each dog has their own unique, fun personality, which makes getting to know them so special. Any special interests or training focus? - One of my favorite interests is planning and hosting Aardvarks’ holiday pawties. I love getting creative, festive, and capturing fun moments with the dogs during their photo sessions. Fun fact about me - I love Aardvarks so much that I bring my own pup, Luke, to daycare every day—because I know he’s in great hands and gets to spend time with his best friends here. How long have you worked at Aardvarks? - Since August 2019! What’s your favorite part about working at Aardvarks? - Getting to see all my favorite pups, especially the ones I've known since 2019. I also really enjoy trying to figure out what groups will suit new dogs the best, and seeing them open up more with every visit warms the soul. What’s one thing you love most about dogs? - How different all dogs can be, in terms of personality. Some dogs are super silly while some can be super serious. I love the dogs who are more human than they are dog because they're so expressive with their needs. Any special interests or training focus? - Taking photos/videos for our instagram and taking photos for holiday parties that we host for the pups every year! I enjoy doing the arts and crafts part for the party, sometimes I contribute ideas for what goodies we can add to the party bags. Fun fact about me - There’s so many fun facts about me! I enjoy collecting crystals, I play a lot of Fortnite lol, I collect certain pokemon plushies, I like dinosaurs and the concept of aliens (my first tattoo is an alien head on my finger), I love birds and will volunteer my time to the Napa Wildlife Center during the songbird season.

How long have you worked at Aardvarks? - Since October 2021 What’s your favorite part about working at Aardvarks? - Being able to build lifelong relationships with all the dogs that come into Aardvarks. What’s one thing you love most about dogs? - I like dogs with big heads Any special interests or training focus? - I’ve worked in group play since 2020, so my special interest here is using that experience in ensuring that staff are as comfortable and prepared as possible to make sure everyone has a fun and safe time making new friends and running amok. How long have you worked at Aardvarks? - January 2022 What’s your favorite part about working at Aardvarks? - I love every part of the job, but the highlight of working at Aardvarks is definitely creating special bonds with every dog. When you spend so much time with them during all of the years of knowing them, you get to know their individual personalities and fall in love with all of the different attributes each pup brings to the table! What’s one thing you love most about dogs? - The unconditional love dogs give us is something I truly cherish. They stick by our side no matter what and are there for their humans through thick and thin. Any special interests or training focus? - Applying the basics of dog behavior on an individual level, based on each dog’s behavior within a group setting, and teaching trainees how to recognize, respect, and respond to different play styles. Every dog has unique boundaries, and understanding those differences is key to being an effective and attentive dog attendant. Fun fact about me - I have two Chihuahuas of my own, Frappe and Jasmine. They are truly the reason I fell in love with dogs and decided to apply to Aardvarks. After working with dogs for so long, I chose to take a completely different career path and stepped into the medical field. I officially became a medical assistant as of September!
