Where it all started
Aardvark's Dog Training Center began as a home-based pet-sitting business in 1996.
The inspiration
After having a chance to visit a large dog daycare facility in Arizona, the idea stuck with Janet and she began the process of opening her own daycare in the Vallejo area
The journey
With five years of research and planning, Aardvark's Dog Training Center opened it's first location in 2006.
Due to growth and a large client base, we were able to open our second location on Mare Island in 2012.
The open yards and bigger space grew in popularity, ultimately leading us to the decision to move our entire operation to Mare Island.
Our mission
We primarily focus on Dog Daycare and doing all that we can to enrich the lives of the dogs in our care.
